Gatineau, July 7, 2023. - The Musée régional de l'Outaouais (MRO) is proud to present its latest exhibition,
Treasures
open since 1er July
.
Developed in collaboration with several of the region's heritage organizations, the exhibition features a number of artifacts and archives directly related to Outaouais history. These objects arranged on the large table in the Fairview living room can even be manipulated. A visual and audio presentation of the regional inventory of museum collections is also broadcast continuously in the dining room. Here's a brief description of what to expect:

The Outaouais has a rich heritage and a collective memory shaped by the region's builders. This exhibition brings together for the first time artifacts and documents from the collections of members of the Gatineau and Outaouais Heritage Network (RPGO). These objects bear witness to the communities that built the Outaouais region, and to their knowledge and know-how. Treasures that evoke the history and rich heritage of our region.

The exhibitionDes Trésors is offered until July 23 at Maison Fairview, 100 rue Gamelin. The museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00, Wednesday to Sunday, except Fridays, from 12:00 to 20:00.
